General Policies:

  • Valid government-issued photo ID is mandatory to get through security and board your flight.
  • Prices do not include any applicable baggage fees.
  • Bookings are valid upon secured payment.

Cancels and Changes–
Cancellations and date changes are allowed up to 2 hour prior to departure.

No Show Policy-
Passengers who present themselves after check in closing time will not be permitted to board the flight and they will forfeit their seats without any refund.

Check In Policy–
Check in opens 2 hours prior to scheduled departure and closes 30 minutes prior to departure. Please be sure to arrive at the departure gate with your boarding pass at least 30 minutes prior to your scheduled departure time. Otherwise your reserved space will be cancelled without any refund.

Carry-on Baggage Policy-
FMI Air will allow one piece of carry-on baggage not to exceed the dimensions of: 22”L x 14”W x 9”H with maximum weight of 7kg. FMI Air will also allow one personal item such as a purse, briefcase, computer bag or item of similar size. All personal items must be able to be properly stowed.

Checked Baggage Policy:

  • FMI Air allows two pieces of checked baggage up to 20 kilos total weight per ticketed adult or child passenger at no charge. If the two bags combined weight exceeds 20 kilos, a charge of 3 USD per kilo will be charged.
  • Any additional bags are charged at a flat rate of USD 3 per kilo.
  • Infants have no baggage allowance. A fully collapsible stroller or pushchair and carry-cot or car seat may be checked in without charge.


Flights are operated by FMI Air. All flights are subject to governmental approval. In case the carrier cancels a flight or ceases to operate a route, the carrier shall carry the passenger at the earliest opportunity on another of its scheduled services on which space is available between the same routing points (direct or indirect) or make a full refund to the passenger having no further liability.

The carrier is not liable for resulting damages caused by the cancellation of a flight. Carriage is subject to applicable tariffs, conditions of carriage and related regulations. Carriage hereunder is subject to the rules and limitations relating to the liability established by the Warsaw convention. The conditions of carriage are available at all FMI Air check in counter.

If flights get cancelled, we do not offer and cannot facilitate transfer for passengers or their baggage to other flights whether operated by FMI Air or other carriers. we reserve the right of fully refunding all payments without any further liability. Therefore FMI Air assumes no responsibility for making connections and therefore will not be liable for any losses or expenses arising from any failure to make a planned connection.

Free modification for flight and sector changes, only the fare differences for the different fare classes and different sectors to be applied. Modification is only allowed up to 2 hours prior to departure.

Deadlines for booking tickets to be issued. 
FIT – 48 hours before the flight departure
GIT (below 25pax) – 2 weeks before the flight departure
GIT (above 26 pax) –one month before the flight departure.

Other Charges

Cancellation –
USD 5 (for foreigner) or MMK 5,000 (for citizen)

No show –
USD 15 (for foreigner) or MMK 15,000 (for citizen)

Name Change (after ticket issuance) –
USD 10 (for foreigner) or MMK 10,000 (for citizen)
Ticket prices are inclusive of YQ (Insurance Premium), YR (Fuel Surcharge) and Airport Tax.
Basic fare is inclusive of applicable commercial tax.
Ticket prices are subject to class availability for each flight.

FMI AIR has sole discretion to change or amend the above terms and condition without any notice.
