FMI Air to launch new route: Fly direct to Myitkyina

Myitkyina, the capital of Kachin State, is one of Myanmar’s most unique cities.

Now, you can fly direct from Yangon to Myitkyina with FMI Air thanks to a network extension that also included a new route to Kawthaung and the Myeik Archipelago.

Starting from April 2, travellers can explore the world of the Kachin ethnic group, one of Myanmar’s largest and most interesting populations. Trips to the nation’s largest lake, Indawgyi, can be arranged by train or car, and other parks, such as the Hukawn Valley Tiger Reserve, are reachable further afield.

Flights start at just MMK98,000 (less than US$75).
